Whatnot show report: what one show actually made

Export the Show Report from the Shipments page, which you can do the moment the show ends. The Whatnot Show Report is a CSV you download for a single live show from Seller Hub on the web, and its help article of 20 August 2026 says it holds item details, sale prices, fees and totals for that show. Two other surfaces answer a question about one show as well, the Seller Analytics Shows tab and the Weekly Order Report filtered by Livestream ID, and three is what the three help centre sections swept for this page hold. How much did my Whatnot show make is answerable from any of them up to a point, and all three stop at the same place: none of them knows what a lot of cards cost you, so none of them can give the show a verdict.

Everything below is read from Whatnot's own help articles on 19 September 2026, with each article's date given where its facts are used. The three is a count of what those sections hold rather than of everything Whatnot has ever built. The section called Earnings statements and reporting holds exactly two articles and neither is per-show; Manage your shipments, under Shipping, holds nine, and the Show Report export is filed there, which is most of why sellers hunting under Financials never find it.

Five steps, web only, from the article dated 20 August 2026:

1. On whatnot.com, open the Shipments page in Seller Hub.
2. Select your show from the All Shows & Marketplace filter dropdown.
3. Click Open Sidebar on the right.
4. Scroll down to Show Actions.
5. Select Export Show Report (CSV).

Whatnot adds one warning worth repeating: open the file in a spreadsheet tool rather than Notepad or another plain text editor, or the data will not land in columns. The same page is where the break exports live, so if you ran a break you can pull the buyer and spot assignments from the Break Manager at the same time.

On whatnot.com, open the Shipments page in Seller Hub, pick the show from the All Shows & Marketplace filter, click Open Sidebar on the right, scroll to Show Actions, and select Export Show Report (CSV). Export a Show Report, dated 20 August 2026, says it is web only, and to open the file in a spreadsheet tool rather than a plain text editor so the columns survive.

If you want the file rather than the routing, the Weekly Order Report guide walks its 36 columns, and Whatnot seller reports explained routes between all eight reporting surfaces, including Statements and the Ledger.

Whatnot's two articles disagree. Export a Show Report, dated 20 August 2026, says the file includes item details, sale prices, fees and totals. The older Weekly Orders Report FAQ, dated 6 May 2026, calls the same export the livestream report and says it does not contain detailed earnings information. The newer article wins on date, so expect fees and check your own file.

Worth knowing before you trust either one. The Weekly Orders Report FAQ, dated 6 May 2026, answers a seller asking for numbers right after a show by pointing at the Shipments page, calls what you get there the livestream report, and says that while it "does not contain detailed earnings information" it does carry product and shipping details you can use for fulfilment. Export a Show Report, dated 20 August 2026, describes the same export from the same page as including "item details, sale prices, fees, and totals" and suggests using it to reconcile payouts.

The later article is three and a half months newer and describes a fuller file, so that is the one to expect, and the two names are the same thing. We are flagging it rather than resolving it, because the only way to know which describes your account today is to export yours and look. If the file you get has a fees column, the newer article is current for you.

Seller Analytics is the surface most sellers reach for first, and it has limits the Seller Analytics article of 29 May 2026 states plainly. The Shows tab covers only shows hosted in the last 30 days. Private shows are not included in it at all. Data typically updates within one to two days, so a show that just ended may not be there yet, and every metric is displayed in Pacific Time whatever timezone you sell from.

The bigger limit is what the numbers are. Whatnot labels Analytics earnings as estimates and says not to use them for tax filing or other official reporting, pointing at Seller Statements instead. Estimated Sales is the value of completed orders after your own coupons, and it excludes shipping costs, taxes, tips and other non-order revenue; the Earnings figure beside it is that number minus commission, payment processing and seller-paid shipping including giveaway shipping. Useful for comparing one show with the last one, not for a number you file.

Not in Seller Analytics: the Seller Analytics article of 29 May 2026 says the Shows tab only covers shows hosted in the last 30 days. The weekly files are the durable record instead, because every order row carries a Livestream ID and Livestream Title, so an old show can be rebuilt from the weeks its orders completed in.

What the cards cost you. The Show Report article lists what the file holds and no cost of goods is among them, and Analytics is built entirely from sales and fees. The one cost column Whatnot does offer is in the Weekly Order Report: Cost of Goods, an optional per-listing field that arrives blank unless you filled it in when you created the listing. For a seller listing single cards bought one at a time it helps. It cannot describe a case bought for one price and sold as thirty spots that did not exist as listings when the case was bought, which is why most breakers leave it empty. When that column is filled we read it and create the lot for you, costed and closed, so a singles dealer enters nothing by hand. A breaker cannot lean on it, because a case is one cost and its spots are many listings. Does Whatnot show your profit is the longer answer to why a marketplace cannot compute it from the data it holds.

Take a real break. Eight teams from one box sold for $795.00 of gross, and on the US, Canada and Australia schedule of 8% commission plus 2.9% payment processing and $0.30 a transaction, the two Whatnot fees took $89.07 of it. A show report can tell you both of those figures. It cannot tell you that the box cost $600.00, so it cannot tell you the show made $105.93 before anything you paid to ship it.

That last step is the whole job, and it is arithmetic no per-show export can do by construction: the cost belongs to a purchase, not to a show. One box can feed several shows, its spots can sell in different weeks, and the cost has to follow the sales wherever they landed. BreakCount imports the same Weekly Order Report, takes one cost per purchase lot, spreads that cost across the lot's sales pro rata by gross, and gives each show gross minus commission, processing, seller-paid shipping and giveaway costs, minus the cost allocated to that show's sales. That is the show profit. While any sale in a show has no cost against it the show says it is waiting instead of showing a number, because a net computed around a missing cost is worse than no net. How to split lot costs across sales is the pro-rata mechanics, who pays for the cards you keep from a break is where that $600.00 lands when part of the box never sells, and tracking profit show by show compares the three ways of keeping these records at all.

The 8% is the Standard commission tier from 21 September 2026, not a flat rate. Whatnot rewrote its fee schedule on 17 September 2026, and US Sports and Trading Card Games step down from Standard once four-week sales pass $15,000; the tier table is in does Whatnot lower your commission when you sell more. Every dollar above comes from the same engine as our calculators, and a test in our codebase recomputes these figures and fails if the page and the engine ever disagree.

No. The only cost column Whatnot offers is Cost of Goods in the Weekly Order Report, an optional per-listing field that is blank unless you filled it in when you listed, and a per-listing value cannot describe one box split across many spots. A show's profit needs that cost from your own records.
